In the summer of 2016, surgeons at London Health Sciences Centre in London, Ontario removed a section of Sarina Haggarty’s brain in hopes to stop her epileptic seizures.

Now, just a few months post-surgery and at the age of only 17, Sarina has recorded her first EP, Missing Pieces, and she hopes to donate some of the proceeds of CD sales to brain research.

The EP includes 3 original songs written and performed by Haggarty. Distracted, Find a Way Back and Gonna Let This Small Kite Fly are soulful, beautifully melodic songs with a philosophical depth far beyond the young artist’s age.

London producer-songwriter Ryner Stoetzer collaborated on 2 of the tracks, and contributed a fourth track, which is an upbeat dance remix of the song Find a Way Back.
